Sending hugs...

Sometimes you need to send someone a virtual hug, and these two cards were made for that purpose.

The "Big Paper Hugs" die did all the hard work when it came to making this card. I simply die-cut the sentiment from a 4" X 5 1/4" panel of DSP and then glued the DSP to a cardfront.

I stamped "sending you" (it was part of a longer sentiment stamp), cut it out and popped it up with some foam tape.

Sorry for this blurry photo.

I stamped another sentiment on the inside.

I kept this card quite plain, as I wanted it to be appropriate for a male or a female.

This simple octopus scene was a small section of a 12" X 12" sheet of patterned cardstock. I used other parts of the sheet for these cards and for one of these Valentines

The sentiment was stamped, cut out and popped up with foam tape.

I used my computer to print out a sentiment for the inside to finish the card.

Have you adjusted to Daylight Savings Time? I'm just glad I'm retired so it really desn't affect me much at all. I do enjoy light for more hours in the evening. It makes the days seem longer.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and remember to laugh--a little or a lot--every day.

Cheryl

I love those big letters. Your right, that is all the card needs. The octopus has the cutest expression. These are sure to bring joy to someone.
