Sometimes you need to send someone a virtual hug, and these two cards were made for that purpose.
The "Big Paper Hugs" die did all the hard work when it came to making this card. I simply die-cut the sentiment from a 4" X 5 1/4" panel of DSP and then glued the DSP to a cardfront.
I stamped another sentiment on the inside.
I kept this card quite plain, as I wanted it to be appropriate for a male or a female.
This simple octopus scene was a small section of a 12" X 12" sheet of patterned cardstock. I used other parts of the sheet for these cards and for one of these Valentines.
The sentiment was stamped, cut out and popped up with foam tape.
I used my computer to print out a sentiment for the inside to finish the card.
Have you adjusted to Daylight Savings Time? I'm just glad I'm retired so it really desn't affect me much at all. I do enjoy light for more hours in the evening. It makes the days seem longer.

Two awesome "hug" cards, Cheryl. I love that you always put sentiments on the insides of your cards. These are so appropriate.
The big die‑cut sentiment really shines here, especially with the clean panel letting those bold letters do all the work. The octopus scene is such a charming contrast, and I love how you pulled it from a larger sheet to create something so focused and expressive. Both designs feel warm and uplifting, and the inside sentiments finish them so thoughtfully.
