The purpose for making this card was to use one of the blue flower stickers in my stash. I like to place them on a piece of white cardstock and then die-cut them. Running them through my Big Shot helps to embed the sticker onto the die-cut piece.
I cut a 4" X 5 1/4" panel of blue patterned DSP and then cut a V-shaped section out of it as you see in the photo above. I didn't measure where to cut, I just eyeballed it. I backed the two resulting pieces of DSP with some white cardstock for some nice contrast and then glued this to my card front.
I adhered the die-cut circle with its flower image to the narrow end of the V-shaped cutout, popping it up with foam squares.
I stamped the sentiment on the exposed white area with dark blue ink. Since there were gold accents on the sticker image. I added three tiny die-cut gold hearts.
On the inside, I stamped a sentiment and an image at the top that was from another stamp set. Since the image had a heart in the center, I added another one of those tiny gold hearts.
I like the way this card turned out, and I wish I had made several more of them. I have four different sets of the flower stickers, each set in a different color. It would have been fun to make similar cards with each of them. It seems I only think of these mass production ideas after I have put all the supplies away!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and remember to laugh--a little or a lot--every day.

This is a beautiful card. That white wege just draws the eye right to that pretty flower. You are right this design would work in many colors and occasions. I'll give it a try.
A very cool card, for sure. Well, next time you can get your stickers out and make many cards! :-)
Absolutely striking. I love the colors and the touch of gold. Fun layout too!
The deep blue palette and that crisp V-shaped opening make such a striking stage for the floral circle. Embedding the sticker into the die-cut gives it such a polished look, and the tiny gold hearts are the perfect way to echo the accents without overwhelming the design. The inside detail with the coordinating heart ties everything together so nicely. This layout really shines and feels like one you could revisit in any color set.
What a pretty sticker, and fab layout for your sentiment. Love this!
