Another quick Christmas card...

This card came together very quickly. I used some more paper from DCWV's "The Heirloom Christmas" stack. The three different paper patterns are all part of the same sheet of paper - no piecing required!

I used my CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge to cut out the ornament from two different types of gold paper - one that was glossy and another that had a pearlized sheen. I used a piece of gold metallic thread to "hang" the ornament and tie a small bow.

The sentiment was stamped with Versamark ink and then heat embossed with some red embossing powder. This "Holiday Greetings" stamp was one I selected from a dollar bin at Michael's. It stamps beautifully, and I love the font.

I wasn't crazy about this inside sentiment - it didn't seem to fit all that well with the stamp on the front of the card. That said, I decided to still stamp it with Versamark and heat emboss it. I just didn't have many other stamps to choose from.

I plan to shop for a better inside sentiment stamp in the near future. I really like the one I used on the front of the card, and I want something that more readily fits that style.

How many Christmas cards have you made so far? This only makes three for me. I need to get crackin'!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and remember to laugh--a little or a lot--every day.
