This card came about because I had a partial sheet of copper-colored rub-ons to use. The images included butterflies, flowers and other bits of nature.
I also had a pre-cut Z-fold card base with cut-out circles along the folded edge. It also needed to be used.
I added some DSP to the front, carefully cutting it to match the edge with the circles. The DSP had a copper and gold metallic design that looked great with the copper-colored rub-ons.
A single rub-on was added to each circle.
The "thank you" sentiment had also been languishing in my stash, so I matted it and popped it up on the card front.
When the card is opened, this is how it looks. I added a couple more of the rub-ons and a stamped sentiment. As you can see, I added a copper-colored strip of cardstock on the right side. It was just wide enough to be slightly under the Z-fold edge when the card is closed.
It took a little extra time to cut the DSP for the front of this card, but in the end, I think it was worth it. I may have another one or two of these card bases in my stash, and I think I'll finish them the same way.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and remember to laugh--a little or a lot--every day.

I LOVE your metallic paper and the rub-ons here are a perfect match. And a fun fold too! Love the circles on the fold of the card. Excellent job spacing them. That's where I struggle!
It's always great when you can combine some of those parts that we have laying around - this is so pretty!
