This is the card I made for my granddaughter's birthday this month. It's a tri-panel fun fold, and if you'd like to watch a video tutorial on how it is made, you'll find one here (Dawn's Stamping Thoughts).
To start with, I found three coordinating patterns of DSP and some pink cardstock for the base. The cardstock was only one-sided, but I thought the off-white on the back side coordinated just fine with the DSP patterns I had selected.
The flowers on the front panel were die-cut, and I blended a little ink onto the edges of the petals. I think they nicely frame the stamped sentiment.
This is the second panel. When making the card, you have to make sure that the sentiment panels are hidden by the panel in front of them when the card is closed.
This is the third panel with another stamped sentiment. This is also where we signed the card.
You wouldn't have to mat all the sentiment panels, but I thought the mats gave a nice, finished look.
You could also add lots more die-cuts, stickers, etc., if you wanted to.
I think this card looks especially nice when it is displayed.
I hope you'll give this fun fold a try. It is SO much easier to make than it looks.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and remember to laugh--a little or a lot--every day.
