More In Love Art Shop products...

This is another card using some fun In Love Art Shop products. First, I laid this stencil over the white panel and blended on three different colors of ink.

I used this die set to cut the word "thankful" and its vellum shadow.

Both the word die and the stencil can be purchased at In Love Art Shop using this discount code: G-26257

I found a stamp in my stash that said "for you" and created a little sentiment strip to add with foam tape below my main sentiment word.

Because I have a hard time leaving well enough alone, I added some clear Nuvo drops to the little circles in my stencil design. They added some nice texture and didn't detract from the overall simplicity of my card, so I actually rather liked them when they were done.

The inside of my card was left blank. I only added a narrow left-over strip of my stenciled background.

If the weather cooperates (we actually had snow flurries yesterday!), I have decided to plant some tulip bulbs today. I'm excited about having something special to look forward to in the spring. I love tulips and have planted them before, but they have always died out on me after one season of blossoms. Not long ago I received dozens of tulip bulbs from Holland as a belated birthday gift from my stepdaughter and her family, so I really hope these bulbs take hold and produce flowers for at least a few years.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and remember to laugh--a little or a lot--every day.

That is a very pretty stencil. I think the Nuvo drops enhance the design a lot. So worth all the time it took to do them. The vellum shadow on the word softens that up. I am a big fan of vellum.

Such a pretty stencil, and I love the colors you chose. The Nuvo drops are a great touch. Love the sentiment, too.

I love that stencil and like how you did it up in three different colors. But my favorite part - no wait there are two favorite parts, #1 the vellum shadow, and #2 the clear Nuvo dots. Adds so much to the card
No SNOW - but I don't know why I am worried yet, I am retired and don't drive in the snow anyway.
