Simple Easter cards...

I've made about a dozen simple Easter cards to sell at the thrift store where I volunteer. It's actually quite fun to put these together to help produce income for the store. Here are the first six that I completed.

All of the DSP came from the thrift store, and I added die-cuts, flowers and gems, as well as the card bases, from my stash.  All the cards were stamped inside with an Easter sentiment.

Here's a closer look at each of them:

I have another batch of cards like this to share with you--but that's for another day.

We went to a swim meet today in which two of our grandkids competed. They both swam really well, achieving personal bests and some first place awards. It was fun to watch them swim, but it was like a sauna in the pool area. So HOT and HUMID!! We've been to quite a few swim meets, and this was the most tropical one yet!! I felt like they should have had a few fake palm trees and some fancy drinks with umbrellas to complete the experience.

I hope you're having a splendid weekend, wherever you are. Thanks so much for stopping by, and remember to laugh--a little or a lot--every day.

Cool Easter cards, Cheryl! So nice of you to donate them. I need to find a place to donate my cards. There are getting to be way too many of them in my stamping room! :)
