I have made several different gnome cards this year. I really love gnomes! Maybe it's my Scandinavian heritage, but I find them so appealing.
The Christmas paper I used on these cards is some that I had in my stash from a few years ago. The factory-embossed white paper on the bottom is REALLY old! I've had it for (I think) at least 10 years. It comes from a pack of beautifully embossed 12"X12" papers that I bought at Costco. I only have a couple of sheets left, so I'm pretty judicious as to how I use it.
On the inside, I added a little canopy, using the patterned paper that I had also used on the front. I think it adds a nice touch of color to the inside. The sentiment was stamped with Memento ink.
I was super busy today, trying to finish up my baking and gift wrapping. I almost got the baking done. I still have a couple batches of cookie dough chilling on the back porch (my wintertime walk-in cooler) which I will bake tomorrow. I made a little progress on my gift wrapping and have only one family's gifts left to do. I should be able to finish that up tomorrow, too. Yay!
I hope you are nearing the end of your holiday preparations and are ready to relax and enjoy the festivities--such as they are this year. Ours will be very low-key, but I'm looking forward to them nonetheless.

Oh my goodness - I love these cards, Cheryl! The paper is awesome - the white is nice, but I really like the red and green! Your gnomes are super-cute and your coloring is fabulous. We don't do any holiday baking. Our gifts are only for the kids and grandkids, and I've kept up on the wrapping - as they arrive, they get wrapped. We're still waiting for a few packages, though. :)
Cute little gnomes. Love the way you did the backgrounds. The decoration inside adds a lot of interest. I often get lazy and don't add that. I have all the cards mailed and the boxes shipped. Not doing much cooking or baking here this year.
I haven't been visiting blogs for quite awhile but so glad I stopped in today. This card is so cute! Love how you scalloped the edge of the dp.....I've never seen that done before so you've given me a new idea!
You made my heart smile with these darling gnomes. I have loved them for a while now even before they were popular in the crafting field. And the canopy on the inside of the card is perfect.
Wrapping is my LEAST favorite thing to do - not only at Christmas but anytime. Give me a gift bag and some tissue. My cookies and breads are baked, cards all out, gifts purchased or made but wrapped NOT.
Covid has really put a damper on our Christmas plans this year so we will be spending it at home with more turkey than we can eat.
