By the numbers...

This card was for my brother whose birthday is July 17. I took some number dies (unbranded) and scattered them on my card front before sending them through my Cuttlebug.

Then I cut out two of them in red CS and popped them back into the openings, also replacing the dark grey center on the "0."

For a final touch to my red numbers (his age), I added a bit of sparkle from my Wink of Stella pen.

My little sentiment flags were also cut with unbranded dies.

If you look closely, you'll see that my 8 is upside down. Do you think my brother will notice? I decided he probably wouldn't, so I didn't remake my card front.

On the inside of my card I used a Fiskars stamped sentiment.

I actually liked how this card turned out (except for the upside down 8), so I made another one for my husband with his age in red numbers.

We are enjoying our time at the Winnebago Grand National Rally. Lots of friends here who also own Rialta RVs, so we have a good time sharing tips and tricks for living comfortably in the confines of such a small space.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and remember to laugh--a little or a lot--every day.

Cute idea. I didn't notice the upside down 8 until you told me. Sure your brother won't either. Love that inside quote.

Great design, Cheryl! Your numbers are tumbling, right? So it makes sense that at least one of them would be upside down! Love it! Glad you're having a good time!! Hugs, Darnell

The upside down 8 was the first thing I noticed (just kidding). I had to look again after you mentioned it What a great idea for a birthday card. The sentiment is perfect.

Ha, I know 100% my brother wouldn't have noticed your 8 so I reckon yours probably didn't either ;)
