"Get a wiggle on!"

Did anyone ever say that to you? I know my mother used to say that to me when I was a kid. I think I must have been terribly slow, as she would also often say, "Cheryl, you are slower than molasses in January!"

Anyway, when I was trying to use up some birthday card blanks recently, the "get a wiggle on" comment came to mind, and I made this card:

My cute little worm (can worms be cute?) comes from the Create A Critter cartridge. I added a brown base for my worm to "wiggle" on by cutting a strip of brown cardstock with a decorative scissor.

My card base was already printed with the birthday banner, so I simply added some green enamel dots at each end and in the middle for a little added dimension.

On the inside of my card, I added another little worm. Because it was so small, I opted not to cut out its layers. I think it looks pretty cute as a one layer worm, too. I colored his antennae black and drew on his eyes and smile.







It's terribly cold here today. It will be in the double digits below zero tonight. Hope my car starts tomorrow!

I still had a lovely Sunday afternoon reading (and napping) by a roaring fire in the fireplace. It felt so good on such a cold day.
