I used a Lifestyle Crafts die called "Branches" for my branch, then added a couple of hanging hearts cut with the "Precious Hearts" die by Memory Box. The "I Love You" stamp is from a very old set - not even sure what brand it is anymore. Here's the inside of my card with it's punch line:
My husband knows I like a good nap - especially on the weekends - so I think he'll appreciate this sentiment. LOL
Now, I just want to share what's been blooming at our house:
Isn't this a beautiful amaryllis? I love the contrast of the big, red blooms against the snowy looking weather outside.
This was a bulb that I picked up at The Home Depot in December. As we speak, all eight blossoms (four on each stalk) have opened up and it really looks impressive.
I've been reading online about the process in prepping the bulb for next year after the flowers have faded. Have you ever done this? I'm just wondering if it is ever successful. I'm not sure if I'll give it a try. Maybe...
Thanks so much for stopping by and allowing me to share a card and my lovely amaryllis.
Don't forget to laugh--a little or a lot--every day.
Cheryl

Cheryl. I love your amaryllis. I had one the same colour as your, but it only had one flower shoot with the 4 flowers. I have never tried to keep the bulb for the next year. I just buy a new one lol

Gorgeous flower - thank you for sharing - it is so bright, beautiful and so vibrant!! As for your cute, sweet Valentine with its clever humor - so fun!!! I love naps = too!!! So much more than I should!! But seriously this is a great card and I am sure your husband will love it!!!
Pretty card and I LOVE the sentiment on the inside!! :)
Cheryl,,what a fun Valentine for the hubs. The sentiment is so cute.
Wow, gorgeous plant, would be nice to try to keep it and see it bloom again, but no help here, my thumbs have never been green.

Your card is very reflective of that stunning amaryllis, Mary! It's a great design and I'm sure he will love it! My husband would really, really love that card because "naps" around here mean something else, if you know what I mean, and I think you do. Have a great day! (Sorry, I've never been fortunate enough to have one of those incredible flowers. Good luck with it!) Hugs, Darnell
Oh, oops, sorry, Cheryl. I can't see my comment, but I have this sinking feeling that I just called you Mary. Do you mind if I call you Mary? Hugs, Darnell
Super cute card Cheryl! The little heart ornaments look darling!
Such a sweet design! (and sentiment too cute).
That amaryllis is gorgeous!
